Gary Daugherty

 

Gary Daugherty has been with Engineering Associates, Inc. since 1972 in the water and wastewater fields and became a principal in 1990.  Currently, he is a project manager in the Municipal Division responsible for project planning, design and construction administration which many times involve multiple engineering disciplines. 

His primary experience includes preliminary studies, design and construction administration for municipal water and wastewater projects.  Water projects include wells, treatment plants, booster pumping stations, transmission mains, distribution systems and storage tanks.  Wastewater projects include treatment plants, lift stations, trunk sewers and collection systems.  In addition, he has written operation and maintenance manuals for wastewater treatment plants, conducted distribution system analysis for water distribution systems, inspected water storage tanks, prepared sludge management plans, troubleshot water and wastewater physical facilities and controls and worked with state and federal funding agencies to obtain grants and loans.
